MEET STEVE CROSS

We’d like to introduce you to Steve Cross who currently works for Brandywine Rentals as a tractor-trailer driver. Steve’s been working for us since the 1980’s when he started out as a driver for Brandywine Trucks & Equipment. He must have done something right because he was promoted to an Assistant Manager for our new and used truck parts store called Brandywine Truck & Cars where we sold Economy parts, oil filters, fenders, etc. Steve stayed there for about a year but was lured back to Brandywine Truck & Equipment where he would alternate between selling equipment on the counter and driving trucks. Oh, did we mention he’s also a mechanic? Around 1996 he felt the urge to start his own business so he got himself a rollback and began his tow company. In 2000 he got a call asking him to come back to work and the rest is history! Steve and his wife Sharlene have been married for 27 years and have two children Tiffany and Stephen. Both Steve and his son enjoy racing and building race cars from the ground up and he and Sharlene like to take motorcycle rides and trips when they find the time. When he’s not working or building cars you can probably find Steve at the Moose lodge cooking for their charitable fundraisers. When asked what he likes most about working at Brandywine he said that the Meinhardt family are really good people to work for and they’d do anything for you. Thanks Steve, we’re glad you’re here!
