MEET BRIAN EDELAN
Although he's coming up on his 22nd anniversary with Brandywine, Brian goes way back with the Brandywine family. He started following his dad, "Boots" to cut the grass and do odds and ends for Walter and Alvin Meinhardt when he was 12 years old. The Meinhardts' knew Brian's work ethic so right out of high school they asked Brian to join Brandywine Auto Parts as a dismantler and parts puller where he stayed for about three years. When he moved to Solomons Island he was commuting quite a long distance so he was able to transfer to Southern Maryland when a vacancy came up and that's where he has been ever since. He does a little of everything there, dismantling, pulling parts, whatever it takes to get the job done. Part of a big family, Brian has eleven brothers and sisters, making the children an even dozen! They are all spread out but when the holidays come they all find a way to meet at his Mom's house and swap stories. Brian has a beautiful six year old daughter and enjoys street bike racing with his brother Kenny at Bud's Creek when he can. When asked what he likes about working at Brandywine he said that he enjoys working on all of the different vehicles that come in making every day something different, but he also said that he loves working here because all the people that he works with are like family. We're glad you joined us Brian and keep up the good work!
